Kim Hotstart Thermostats and Controls Thermostats and Controls

Him Hotstart offers a complete line of thermostat controls, control systems and other accessories to ensure proper and efficient performance of Kim Hotstart heaters.

  • General purpose, weather tight and explosion proof thermostats available for all engine heating, oil heating, and battery heating applications
  • Fixed and adjustable temperature settings
  • Oil Pressure switches for automatic cutoff of heaters on engine startup
  • Complete control systems for 3 phase and high voltage engine preheaters factory assembled in electrical boxes for ease of installation

Temperature controls should be used with every heating application to protect the heater, save energy and ensure that the desired temperature is maintained. Kim Hotstart manufactures thermostats for direct immersion into a liquid in 1/2” and 3/4” NPT in watertight and Class 1, Group D hazardous location construction.

Flow through thermostats for placing inline in a hose or piping system are also available. These thermostats are available with 3/4” and 1” hose barb and 1” NPT connections and  in watertight and Class 1, Group D hazardous location construction.

There are also have fixed  temperature settings from 60°F - 160°F and adjustable range thermostats available.

Kim Hotstart has watertight and Class 1, Group D hazardous location control boxes with contactors, transformers, relays, pressure switches,  timers, steppers and most any controls you need to complete the installation of  electric switches.

Custom designed control boxes for temperature, process, and safety control applications from 12V DC to 600 V, three phase in 50 or 60 Hz. are also available.
